PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically specify a work state in a heavy machine.;SOLUTION: A heavy machine work state specification system 10 is configured to include: vibration measurement means 140 for measuring a vibration produced in a heavy machine 5; storage means 101 for holding information showing a work state in the heavy machine 5 and vibration characteristic information showing a frequency and an amplitude of the vibration produced in the heavy machine 5 under the work state in association with each other; and arithmetic means 104 for executing the vibration measurement by the vibration measurement means 140 as regards the heavy machine 5 in operation, collating information on the frequency and the amplitude of the vibration acquired from the measurement with the vibration characteristic information of the storage means 101, and executing processing of performing evaluation of the work state corresponding to the vibration produced in the heavy machine 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
