PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system which can specify a position of a workpiece conveyed on a conveyor more accurately.SOLUTION: A counter 127 measures a moving amount of a conveyer at a plurality of times at an interval shorter than a communication interval with a controller 100, and transmits the plurality of measured moving amounts and measurement timings of the respective moving amounts as a measurement result to the controller 100. The controller 100 includes: a receiving unit 171 which receives a position of the workpiece measured from an image obtained by imaging the workpiece and an imaging timing; a moving amount specification unit 172 which specifies the measurement timing relatively close to the imaging timing out of the measurement timings and specifies a reference moving amount corresponding to the measurement timing; a position specification unit 173 which specifies a reference position of the workpiece at the imaging timing based on the workpiece position in the image; and a calculation unit 176 which calculates a current position of the workpiece by adding a difference between the current moving amount of the conveyer and the reference moving amount to the reference position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
