PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper structure for a gear device capable of suppressing the generation of heat in a stopper rubber to prevent the thermal deterioration of the stopper rubber.;SOLUTION: The damper structure for a gear device includes a first gear 2 mounted on a shaft 1 to turn in the peripheral direction, a second gear 3 mounted on the shaft 1 to rotate integrally therewith, a stopper rubber 33 mounted on the second gear 3 to face the first gear 2, and a thrust protruded part 24 formed on the first gear 2 to face the second gear 3, the stopper rubber 33 being adapted to be elastically deformed during the rotation of the first gear 2 when the thrust protruded part 24 is thrust against it in the peripheral direction of the second gear 3, and to be restored into an initial shape during the stop of the first gear 2 when the thrust protruded part 24 is moved away therefrom.
