PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable knurling.SOLUTION: A knurling device 34 nips a polymer film by a knurling roller 36 on which projections 42 are formed in the outer periphery and a support roller 38 heated by a heater 46, and knurling is applied to the polymer film 16 by pressing the projections 42 of the knurling roller 36 to the polymer film 16. The support roller 38 is disposed at an upstream side in the conveyance direction A of the polymer film 16 than the knurling roller 36. The polymer film 16 is first in contact with the support roller 38 and is conveyed between the knurling roller 36 and the support roller 38 to be knurled while maintaining the condition.
