PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen skill about adjustment of a gap form of a discharging opening of a die for extrusion molding when changing varieties or sizes of products and reduce material loss by shortening a time until completion of the adjustment.SOLUTION: A die 1 for extrusion molding is provided with a die main body 2, a pair of lips 4, 5 disposed at a lower end part of the die main body 2 and arranged so as to form a discharge opening 3 for molding to a sheet form or a film form by extruding a molten material such as a resin, and a plurality of adjustment bolts 6 arranged so as to adjust gap dimensions in a transverse direction of the discharge opening 3 at a plurality of positions along a longitudinal direction of the discharge opening 3. The die 1 for extrusion molding is provided with detectors for detecting the gap dimensions in the transverse direction of the discharge opening 3 at respective positions corresponding to the plurality of adjustment bolts 6, wherein the detector comprises a proximity sensor 9.
