PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically transcript part of a subject written in a medical-purpose written document.SOLUTION: A transcription system transcripts part of a subject written in a written document such as a medical chart to another document. First, a document to be written is written by a medical doctor. There, the medical doctor writes into the document to be written according to a rule to identify a subject which is a transcription target. A terminal device obtains entry information indicating a written subject, and then extracts transcription subject specific information being information for identifying the subject for transcription. Then, according to the transcription subject specific information, the terminal device extracts the subject for transcription from the written subject, and transcripts the subject for transcription to another document.
