PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power for illumination, in an illumination system utilizing both electric lighting and natural light lighting as tunnel lighting, by unlighting unnecessary electric lighting when it is too bright while keeping an appropriate brightness in the tunnel.;SOLUTION: A tunnel lighting system includes electric circuit lighting means, natural light lighting means for illuminating in a tunnel with collected sunlight, and control means for controlling the electric circuit lighting means. The control means includes determination means for determining a brightness target value in a tunnel corresponding to the brightness on the outside of tunnel detected by a tunnel outside light sensor, and lighting control means for comparing the brightness in tunnel detected by a tunnel inside light sensor with a brightness target value determined by the determination means, and lighting or unlighting some illuminators of the electric circuit lighting means so that the brightness in tunnel matches the brightness target value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
