PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a semiconductor device at a low price through a wet process with an organic semiconductor which is high in solubility in an organic solvent and stable in a solution state since pentacene as a representative organic semiconductor material is low in solubility in an organic solvent and has a problem associated with stability in a solution state and a compound 2,3-DNTT (chemical formula 12) which is stable in a solution state is low in solubility in an organic solvent and has a problem when used in the wet process.;SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a novel organic semiconductor material which is stable in a solution and high in solubility, and characterized in a thienothiophene skeleton, or dinaphtho[2,1-b:2',1'-f]thieno[3,2-b]thiophene (hereinafter 2,1-DNTT).
