PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine checking system and a medicine checking program at a prescription order for determining eligibility of prescription order without giving an excess burden to a medical site when ordering prescription in consideration of a patient's demand.SOLUTION: An appropriate prescription order check is carried out in consideration of property of a medicine and disease state of a patient by determining maximum dosage, maximum quantity, suitableness of pulverization or partition, information on an alternative medicine, pharmacological compatibility of the medicine, redundancy and interaction of components, pharmacological conflict (contraindication), etc. on the basis of suitableness of pulverization of the medicine, link information with alternative medicine A', suitableness of partition of a medicine, link information with alternative medicine A", and information on the maximum dosage and on maximum quantity set for each department, besides information for determining pharmacological compatibility, such as a medicine code, a medicine effect code, an indication code, and a side effect code of the medicine.
