PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll expander which suppresses heat leakage from a compression mechanism side to an expansion mechanism side while reducing thrust force, and is highly efficient under a wide operating condition.;SOLUTION: A scroll expander 1 is provided with a liquid injection port 93 capable of injecting a liquid refrigerant from the outside of a sealing container 10 into a sub compression chamber 6a on a fixed scroll 61 which is a second fixed scroll. While a thrust load acting on a rocking scroll 52 is reduced, compression gas is cooled by liquid injection to the sub compression chamber, and heat leakage from a sub compression mechanism side to an expansion mechanism side through a base plate 61a of the rocking scroll can be suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
