PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent persistently suppressing the generation of a bad smell derived from urine by making a bad smell component having higher contribution to uraroma than ammonia in living environment clear and inhibiting an enzyme related to the generation thereof.SOLUTION: A new -glucuronidase inhibitory agent includes Lindera strychnifolia or an extract thereof. An environmental sanitation product and a sanitary product contain the -glucuronidase inhibitory agent. A uraroma generation-suppressing composition and a method for suppressing the generation of uraroma use the -glucuronidase inhibitory agent.
