PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood-coagulation time measuring instrument having a simple structure and capable of accurately measuring the coagulation time of blood, using small amount of blood to be measured.;SOLUTION: A lateral fine tube part 14c, in which blood to be measured is thrown, is provided to a measuring cartridge 14 and a rod-like magnet 22 having an S-pole and an N-pole at both end parts thereof is arranged in the fine tube part 14c so as to freely reciprocate within a predetermined ra. The measuring part 24, provided to the body of the measuring instrument, includes an electromagnetic coil 28 for alternately changing over current passage polarities at a predetermined time interval, to reciprocally move the rod-like magnet 22 by magnetic attraction, a light detection sensor 32 for detecting a state that the rod-like magnet 22 is biased to one end of the fine tube part 14c, a discrimination means for discriminating whether the position of the rod-like magnet 22 to be moved by the electromagnetic coil 28 and the position of the rod-like magnet 22 detected by the light detection sensor 32 properly correspond to each other, a time measuring means for measuring the time from the start of the reciprocating movement of the rod-like magnet 22 by the electromagnetic coil 28, until it is discriminated that the position of the rod-like magnet 22 does not correspond by the discrimination means and a display means for displaying the measured time as the coagulation time of blood to be measured.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
