PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily investigate and find out a vigorous greening plant which is native to Japan and can maintain the domestic unique landscape, develop a mass propagation technique of the plant, and further provide a new greening technique which is well-adapted thereto and can efficiently propagate and provide the greening plant in a short time.SOLUTION: In a mass propagation method of Chrysanthemum pacificum seedlings, a seedling P of Chrysanthemum pacificum having the same wood rotting fungus as the habitat is grown under proper control (steps 1-5 in Fig.1), and seedlings P of Chrysanthemum pacificum having the same wood rotting fungus as the habitat and/or other microorganisms are obtained from normal buds B of the Chrysanthemum pacificum C (steps 6-10 in Fig.1). The steps of growing the seedlings P of Chrysanthemum pacificum under control in a proper environment, rooting normal buds B of the grown Chrysanthemum pacificum C over a predetermined time, and growing a large amount of seedlings P of Chrysanthemum pacificum having the same wood rotting fungus as the habitat and/or other microorganisms under control in the proper environment (steps 2-9 in Fig.1) are repeated for propagation.
