PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain cavitation and noise, without increasing a dimension in an internal gear pump.;SOLUTION: This internal gear pump 1 is provided for supplying fluid by a driven pump gear and a hollow gear as a pair of gears in a housing 2. The internal gear pump is proposed so that the pump gear and the hollow gear form a seal area by mutually meshing in a certain area. A substantially crescent member 5 in a cross section is arranged for sealing a clearance space existing so as to be substantially opposed to the seal area, and a first end part 12 of a member is assigned to a low pressure area, and a second end part 13 of the member is assigned to a high pressure area.
