PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To less erroneously measure a total delay time of all frames of a video camera of photography of a system to be measured, concerning a system and method for measuring the total delay time.;SOLUTION: The system 1 for measuring the total delay time includes the video camera 91 for photography installed at a photography place A, a synchronism controller 2, a subject timer 4 configured to display a blinking marker 3 which repeatedly blinks and an imaging time which is fixedly displayed in timing with photography, a light receiving sensor 6 installed at a presentation place B and configured to detect light and shade changes of an image of the blinking marker 3, a presentation-side timer 7 configured to fixedly display an operation time of the light receiving sensor 6, a camera 8 for measurement configured to photograph a presentation image of a video presentation device 93 and the presentation-side timer 7 side by side, and a reader 9 configured to read times out of images of both timers. Further, the system 1 may includes a data transmitter 54 of transmitting data of both times, and computers 52 and 56.
