PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating breast cancer using nanoparticles comprising taxane based on a hormone receptor status.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method and a kit for treatment of breast cancer based on the hormone receptor status of a progesterone receptor and an estrogen receptor, and the method and the kit comprise taxane alone, in combination with at least one other and other multiple therapeutic agents, as well as other treatment forms useful for treatment of breast cancer. In particular, the invention relates to use of nanoparticles comprising paclitaxel and albumin (for example Abraxane(R)) either alone or in combination with other chemotherapeutic agents or radiation, which can be used for treatment of breast cancer not expressing estrogen receptors and/or progesterone receptors.
