PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluororesin based fiber and a method for producing the same, having excellent characteristic such as abrasion resistance, and a textile employing the fluororesin based fiber.;SOLUTION: Provided is a fluororesin based fiber that is composed of a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene having a molecular weight of 6 million or more and 12 million or less and whose fineness CV is 10% or less. The fluororesin based fiber is produced by mixing a water dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene resin and a matrix material and spinning by a wet type spinning method using the mixture, and followed by burning off the matrix material in a calcination process. The fluororesin based fiber has a single fiber fineness of 1.5 to 15.0 dtex, a dry strength of 1.5 to 3.0 cN/dtex, and a carbon-containing ratio based on fiber weight of 1.0 to 5.0%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
