PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black composite resin particle powder having excellent handleability and high blackness, a black coating that is mixed with the black composite resin particle powder and has excellent blackness and storage stability, and a resin composition. PSOLUTION: The black composite resin particle powder having excellent handleability and high blackness is obtained by mixing resin particle powder with inorganic particle powder, coating the surface of the particle of the resin particle powder with the inorganic particle powder, then mixing the resin particle powder coated with the inorganic particle powder with a surface modifier, coating the surface of the particle of the resin particle powder coated with the inorganic particle powder with the surface modifier, further mixing the resin particle powder coated with the surface modifier with carbon black and attaching the carbon black to the surface of the particle of the resin particle coated with the surface modifier.
