PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an echo signal processing device, an underwater detector, a radar apparatus, an echo signal processing method, and an echo signal processing program, which enable more reliable reduction of a reverberation signal contained in an echo signal and more reliable detection of a desired echo component contained in the echo signal.;SOLUTION: An echo signal processing device 4 includes a reverberation estimation part 41 that calculates plural reverberation estimation signal levels y1(n) using plural reception signal levels x(n) obtained by sampling a reception signal in a given temporal interval. Specifically, the reverberation estimation part 41 calculates, for each reception signal level x(n), a first reference signal level z1(n) correlated with a reverberation signal level.
