PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an apparatus difference, and to determine absorbance at the same wavelength at each apparatus even in the case that there is deviation in the measuring wavelength between apparatuses caused by an individual difference of a mounted spectrometer.;SOLUTION: An object to be measured is irradiated with light including a plurality of wavelengths. Reflected light or transmitted light from the object to be measured is received. Absorbance at each of a plurality of wavelengths is determined on the basis of information acquired by light reception. The plurality of absorbance are used to determine a quadratic or higher-order regression equation with the wavelengths of light as an explanatory variable and absorbance as an objective variable. A value of a specific wavelength is substituted into the regression equation to compute absorbance at the specific wavelength. Such a technical means is used. Differential absorbance at the specific wavelength may be computed by differentiating the regression equation and substituting the value of the specific wavelength into a differentiated regression equation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
