PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of accurately finding absorbance distribution even if analysis is made faster at the time of estimating the absorbance distribution of a sample with an approximate expression on the basis of amounts of light that has passed through a plurality of portions of the measurement object sample, and to provide a spectroscopic analyzer using such an estimation method.SOLUTION: A method for estimating absorbance distribution of a sample with an approximate expression on the basis of amounts of light that has passed through a plurality of portions of the measurement object sample determines the approximate expression on the condition that an error between an amount of light converted from absorbance by the approximate expression and an amount of light stored in advance becomes minimum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
