PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immobilizing solution utilized for immobilizing and removing radioactive substances-containing forest soil comprising fallen leaves, leaf mold or the like, and a removing method for radioactive substances using the immobilization solution.;SOLUTION: The immobilizing solution of the present invention comprises at least (a) a biodegradable water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer and (b) an aqueous medium having water as a main component. The viscosity of the solution is adjusted to 5 to 4000 mPa s at 4 to 30°C. Besides the (a) and (b) components, the immobilization solution comprises (c) an inorganic adsorbent for radioactive substances.The removing method for radioactive substances of the present invention comprises the steps of: applying the immobilization solution to the surface of contaminated forest soil or sprinkling the immobilization solution on the surface of contaminated forest soil; volatilizing the (b) component to dryness and immobilizing the contaminated forest soil, or the contaminated forest soil and the (c) component with the (a) component; and stripping or removing the layer immobilized with the (a) component.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
