PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify a user that an image of desired quality can be captured, at proper timing. PSOLUTION: A photo printer 1 comprises: an image creating section 16 for creating a plurality of transmission images having different image qualities from a captured image obtained by an imaging part 120 or an edited image obtained by editing the captured image; a communication control section 15 for transmitting the transmission images to a server 3 and receiving an electronic mail address; an image selection receiving section 17 for displaying a selection screen for selecting a mail transmission determination image from among the plurality of transmission images, and for receiving the selection; and a communication control section 15 for transmitting, to the server 3, selection image specification information specifying the mail transmission determination image and the received electronic mail address in association with each other, so as to transmit electronic mail to the electronic mail address when the server 3 completes capturing the selected mail transmission determination image received by the image selection receiving section 17.
