PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for athletic stadium in which lighting fixtures of high directivity are arranged economically in such a way that a remarkable difference is not generated in an illumination distribution in the athletic stadium and powerful light may not enter into eyes of players.;SOLUTION: At a tennis coat T where several tennis courts 1 to 6 are arranged in vertical and lateral directions, several columns 11 are vertically installed along both right and left sides around the tennis court T, i.e. in parallel with two rows of side lines 13, 14 positioned at the outer-most sides of several tennis courts 1 to 6, and a beam member 12 is installed between each of the columns 11, 11. The lighting fixtures 17 having a high directivity with several light emitting diodes collected there are arranged in parallel in substantial equal manner over an entire length of each of the beam members in each of the rows through fixing brackets attached to the beam members 12 in these two rows spaced apart by a prescribed space.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
