PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a command decoder capable of suppressing current consumption.;SOLUTION: A command decoder for a semiconductor memory device, which generates a command decoding signal on the basis of a command that is specified by a predetermined-level chip selection signal and a command signal, includes: a decoding unit that decodes the command signal; a latch unit that latches a decoding result of the decoding unit by using an internal clock signal which operates when the chip selection signal is at the predetermined level; and a generation unit that generates the command decoding signal on the basis of the internal clock signal and a latch result of the latch unit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
