PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a metal oxide nanocrystal based on a new method for controlling a form of the metal oxide nanocrystal.;SOLUTION: In the method for producing the metal oxide nanocrystal, a mixed solution, composed of a nonpolar organic solvent and an organic surfactant and having smaller specific gravity than that of a metal salt aqueous solution, is added to an upper part of the metal salt aqueous solution to form two separate phases. After separation into two phases, a basic organic compound is added to an upper phase among two phases and the obtained solution is heated to synthesize the metal oxide nanocrystal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
