PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for controlling the flexural rigidity of a flexible pipe used for conveying fluid resources at the optimal value over a wide range in accordance with the service situation and/or the environmental conditions.;SOLUTION: The method controls the flexural rigidity of the flexible pipe 1 used for conveying fluid resources such as water, oil, gas, liquefied gas, chemical raw materials, in which the flexible pipe 1 is composed of a main pipe 2 having flexibility and a side pipe 3 having flexibility and mounted on the periphery of the main pipe 2, and the internal pressure of the side pipe 3 in the conveying process to flow the fluid resources into the main pipe 2 is made higher than that in the laying process to lay the flexible pipe 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
