PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a false claims detector that detects false claims of medical treatment fee, a false claims detection method and a computer program.SOLUTION: A false claims detector designates medical institution ID of a medical institution to be detected (S11), and reads in receipt data of two patients who had medical examination in the designated medical institution (S13,14). The detector calculates a difference of inspection results of a plurality of predetermined inspection items of the read receipt data (S15), and determines whether or not all the calculated differences of the inspection results are within a predetermined range (S16). When all the differences of the inspection results are within the predetermined range (S16: YES), the detector judges that at least one of the read receipt data is receipt data having the possibility of false claim (S17).
