PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a main subject from missing, even when viewing a panorama image with a small screen.;SOLUTION: In a wide-angle image display control method for displaying an image for display on a screen smaller than the panorama image 41, by extracting the image for display in a video frame 43 from the panorama image 41, the main subjects A and B in a panorama image 41 are detected; a movement path 42 for moving the video frame 43 from one end to the other end of the panorama image 41 is determined; and the image for video display which is extracted in the video frame 43 is displayed in a display screen, while the video frame 43 is moved, according to the movement path 42. When the video frame 43, which moves according to the movement path 42, comes close to positions of the main subject A and B, the images of the main subjects are expanded and displayed by making the video frame 43 small; and after expanding and displaying, the expanded displayed images of the main subjects is contracted and displayed by making the video frame 43 large.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
