PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a waste gasification melting furnace in which the quantity of coke to be used is suppressed by preventing variance in a carbonization state of carbide to be supplied to a melting furnace part.;SOLUTION: The waste gasification melting furnace comprises: a shaft part 2; a carbonization fire lattice part 4, a melting furnace part 6; a supply device for supplying processing objects from the carbonization fire lattice part to the melting furnace part; and air blowing parts 45a, 45b. A supplying operation of the supply device is controlled in such a manner that a level of filling with the processing objects in the melting furnace part is maintained at a preset level, and a level of filling with processing objects in the shaft part is detected. A first change speed is calculated which is a variation, per unit time, in the level of filling with processing objects in the shaft part, and the air blowing parts are caused to blow air with air blowing volume which is set based on at least the first change speed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
