METHOD FOR FEEDING WASTE IN WASTE GASIFICATION MELTING FURNACE AND THE WASTE GASIFICATION MELTING FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dispersion of waste to a secondary combustion furnace and improve the degree of volume reduction of the waste by providing the inside of a freeboard with a portion defined by a shielding body so that the ascent of a gas inside the furnace is shielded and feeding waste to the defined portion. ;SOLUTION: A waste charging device 10 is constructed such that the upper portion of a waste feeding cylinder 12 is sealed with fed matters such as waste which have been supplied to a waste supply machine 11, whereby the inside of the cylinder 12 is defined to shield the ascent of a furnace gas. The cylinder 12 is fixed at the central portion of the top of the furnace. Further, the cylinder 12 is inserted into a high temperature freeboard 2 to constitute a water cooling structure. Thus the cylinder 12 results in having a triple-pipe-like form with two channels being provided to the spaces between the pipes, respectively, wherein cooling water supplied to the inner channel is discharged through the outer channel.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
