PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pH-dependent water soluble ruthenium complex which is stable in water, and to which nitrogen is reversibly bonded, and to provide a method of reversibly adsorbing/desorbing nitrogen by pH control.;SOLUTION: The method is achieved by a ruthenium(II)hydroxoaqua(TMC)complex (TMC=1, 4, 8, 11-tetramethyl-1, 4, 8, 11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) represented by formula (I), (wherein X- represents an anion of hexafluorophosphate, tetrafluoroborate, trifluoromethane sulfonate, hexafluoroantimonate, tetraphenylborate, sulfate or nitrate).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
