PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package for optical fiber type coupler, minimizing the number of portions to use an adhesive, achieving automation using a device to reduce the man-hour and prevent artificial mistake, further simply restraining fluctuation of characteristics due to a temperature change without taking time, and relaxing impact from the outside; and to provide an optical fiber type coupler including the package and a method of manufacturing the same.;SOLUTION: A fused and drawn part 6 including a plurality of fused and drawn optical fibers 1, 2, 3 is fixed and held on a substrate 16, a first casing 21 provided with a first resin 23 and a second casing 31 provided with a second resin 33 are fitted to each other, and the first resin 23 and the second resin 33 are brought into close contact with each other with the substrate 16 interposed between them, thereby holding the substrate 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
