PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintered member for a living body or for a medical use, using nickel-free and manganese-free high N-containing austenitic stainless steel powder for a member for a living body or for a medical use, which does not cause allergies by Ni and Mn, and has a high strength, a high abrasion resistance, non-magnetism, a high corrosion resistance, and, further has a ductile brittle transition temperature of 0°C or less.;SOLUTION: The sintered member for a living body or for a medical use is made by using nickel-free and manganese-free high N-containig austenitic stainless steel powder for a member for a living body or for a medical use, and has a chemical composition including any one of 0.1 mass%≤C≤0.3 mass% or 0.001 mass%≤B≤0.003 mass%, and further 20 mass%≤Cr≤28 mass%, 1 mass%≤Mo≤3 mass%, 0.9 mass%≤N≤1.2 mass%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
