PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for searching monitored video image capable of notifying a monitoring person of an image or time in which a nonsteady state appears. PSOLUTION: The device for searching monitored video image 30 includes: a monitored video image acquisition portion 31 which acquires a monitored video image consisting of a series of monitored images photographed by a photographic device 10; a monitored video image storage portion 32 in which the series of acquired monitored images are stored with photography time of the monitored images; a nonsteady area specification portion 33 which specifies a nonsteady area in the acquired monitored images based on input by a user; a searching portion 34 for searching an appearing image that is the monitored image in which the specified nonsteady area appears from the series of stored monitored images; and a screen data generating and outputting portion 35 which outputs at least one of the appearing image and the photography time of the appearing image as a search result by the searching portion 34.
