PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst layer-electrolyte membrane laminate with a protective sheet and a membrane-electrode assembly with the protective sheet capable of preventing the catalyst layer and an electrode from being damaged or chipped-off.SOLUTION: The catalyst layer-electrolyte membrane laminate with a protective sheet includes a long electrolyte membrane 2, a plurality of first catalyst layers 3a formed on a top face of the electrolyte membrane 2 at intervals in the lengthwise direction, a plurality of second catalyst layers 3b formed on a position corresponding to each of the first catalyst layers 3a on an undersurface of the electrolyte membrane 2, and a long first protective sheet 4 adhered on the top face of the electrolyte membrane 2 in a state of covering each of the first catalyst layers 3a.
