PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight by thinning a wall and to prevent deformation.;SOLUTION: A piston rod side mounting part 50B and a housing side mounting part 52 are formed at the opposite ends in a vertical direction of a dust boot 12. A straight part 58 is formed between a bumper rubber part 50 and a bellows part 56 in the dust boot 12 and, in the straight part 58, a plurality of ribs 60 are formed in a ring shape in the circumferential direction. The straight part 58 is reinforced by the ribs 60 and an intermediate portion in the longitudinal direction of the straight part 58 is prevented from having cross sectional deformation in the inner direction when the dust boot 12 contracts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
