PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy forging which can be molded even by forging, and in which the characteristics of the quasicrystal phase thereof are not died away.;SOLUTION: Regarding the magnesium alloy forging, a magnesium mother phase into which a quasicrystal phase or a crystal phase approximate thereto is dispersed has an equiaxial shape, and, in the magnesium alloy forging, the aspect ratio of the magnesium mother phase is ≤2.5. The magnesium alloy forging has a complicated shape in which a rugged part is formed at least at a part, and, even in the rugged part, the magnesium mother phase has the equiaxial shape.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
