PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing valve mechanism that is capable of switching between open and closed states of an air passage in a cylinder body of a fluid pressure cylinder and detecting, through air pressure in the air passage, arrival of an output member at a predetermined position, and that is advantageous in reliability and durability.;SOLUTION: An opening/closing valve mechanism is attached to a cylinder body in a fluid pressure cylinder including the cylinder body, an output member movable forward and backward, a fluid chamber for driving the output member, and an air passage formed in the cylinder body and having one end supplied with pressurized air and the other end communicatively connected to the outside; and is capable of opening and closing the air passage. The valve mechanism includes: a valve element provided in the cylinder body so as to be movable forward and backward; a fluid pressure introduction chamber for maintaining the valve element in a state of being advanced to an output member side by fluid pressure in the fluid chamber; and a fluid pressure introduction passage for communicatively connecting the fluid chamber with the fluid pressure introduction chamber. When the output member arrives at a predetermined position, the output member moves the valve element to switch between open and closed states of the valve mechanism, allowing arrival of the output member at the predetermined position to be detected through air pressure in the air passage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
