PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment management system which can perform license authentication of an equipment mounting program, even if a network to which an authentication server is connected and a network to which a management object apparatus is connected are in a separated status, and to provide an equipment management device, a license authentication method, a license authentication program, and a recording medium which records the program. PSOLUTION: The equipment management system 1 is a system which manages equipment 200 by the equipment management device 100 in a state where a first network 90SB2/SBto which an authentication device 300 is connected, and a second network 90SB1/SBto which the equipment 200 is connected are separated. The equipment management device 100 has a determination means 21 to determine a processing stage of license authentication, and a determination means 22 to determine whether a license authentication request can be made to the authentication device 300, and controls license authentication processing to be performed between separated networks 90 based on a determination result of the authentication processing stage, and a determination result on propriety of the authentication request.
