Provided is a database system that allows efficient and quick updating of data. The database system is equipped with a storage section, wherein a database is stored that comprises an entity data group and at least one identifier table having only multiple fixed-length data, and a data processing section that receives a query and executes data processing for the database based on the query. The identifier table has, as the fixed-length data, multiple data identifiers that uniquely represent each of the multiple entity data.
