PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron donor supplying agent including a poly(lactic acid) system resin which can be in a solid state under using environment even when hydrolyzability is improved and can control discharge speed of an electron donor attendant upon biodegradation and further to provide a method for producing the electron donor supplying agent and an environment clarifying method using the same. PSOLUTION: The electron donor supplying agent is formed by using the poly(lactic acid)-based resin which has weight average molecular weight of about 12,000 or less, has crystallinity of 10% to 40% and is in a solid state under temperature of use environment. Thereby the electron donor supplying agent can be in a solid state under using environment while having sufficient hydrolyzability as to serve as a substrate of a microorganism in biological treatment. Further supply speed of lactic acid which becomes the electron donor is given diversity by adjusting two parameters, weight average molecular weight and crystallinity. PCOPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
