PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product design method which can reduce the burden of a person in charge of business who takes part in product specifications, or the like while holding secret and automatically generate a product scheme, a product design device, a product design computer program and a recording medium.;SOLUTION: When product specification information requested from an orderer is inputted from a business terminal device 2, the inputted specification information is presented to a technical terminal device 3 and a factory terminal device 4, and constraint information constrained to design and manufacture a product is inputted from the technical terminal device 3 and the factory terminal device 4, a calculation server 6 creates a design detailed specification scheme obtained by taking into consideration a delivery specification scheme and constraint to be a base of a product on the basis of the inputted specification information.
