PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple method for detecting squillas specifically and in high sensitivity. PSOLUTION: A primer set for detecting squillas is provided which includes a mixture of an oligonucleotide comprising a specific base sequence. The method for detecting squillas includes conducting a PCR using the primer set with DNA extracted from a sample as template and determining the presence/absence of an amplified product of target size as an indicator, wherein, specifically, the target size when used the primer set is 95-96 bp.
