PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic seam welding equipment and an ultrasonic seam welding method which can prevent the generation of a joining defect.;SOLUTION: The ultrasonic seam welding equipment includes: a lead wire fixture 5 having a mounting face 5b capable of mounting and fixing a lead wire 3 and having a through groove 5c pierced at a part of the mounting face 5b; and an ultrasonic welding part 7 having a disk-shaped abutting part 7a and applying ultrasonic vibration to the abutting part 7a. The ultrasonic welding part 7 brings the outer circumferential edge of the abutting part 7a into contact with the lead wire 3 from the face 5N on the non-mounted side of the lead wire 3 via the through groove 5c in the lead wire fixture 5 in a state that the lead wire 3 is mounted and fixed. Furthermore, the ultrasonic welding part 7 moves the abutting part 7a along the extending direction of the through groove 5c while applying ultrasonic vibration to the abutting part 7a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
