The pole body 12 is formed by connecting cylindrical pole members 16 to one another; and the drill 14 is arranged at its tip. The drill 14 has a shape which is formed by twisting a long flat plate, and both side edges (28) form an outside spiral. When the standing pole 10 is inserted into the bottom (100) of water, the entry and discharge of sludge are efficiently performed by providing the drill 14 with a spiral surface (30) which alternately presents upward and downward portions.
