Adsorber unit for volatile hydrocarbons comprises an iron - containing molecular sieve material, particularly a 10:1-100: 1 silicon dioxide: alumina based zeolite containing 0.1-10% w/w iron. Independent claims are included for an iron zeolite, and its method of manufacture by milling together a mixture of DRY ammonium salts or nitrogen containing compounds, NH3/NH4 zeolite and followed by calcining the mixture at a temperature of at least 300 [deg] C.
