PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traverser for a railroad vehicle having a vehicle fixing device capable of coping with various car models.;SOLUTION: This traverser 1 for the railroad vehicle is constituted so that a wheel 60 of the railroad vehicle is fixed by the vehicle fixing device 16 by traveling on a vehicle mounting rail 15, and the railroad vehicle carried in its state is transferred between a distribution rail and the vehicle mounting rail 15 in a facility, and the vehicle fixing device 16 has driving means 22 and 29 for moving a travel metal fitting 24 in parallel along the vehicle mounting rail 15, a scotch 21 rockably connected in the vertical direction to the travel metal fitting 24 and travel surfaces 17a and 31 existing on the side of the vehicle mounting rail 15 and formed by changing a height position so as to vertically move by sliding the scotch 21, and the scotch stays in standby in a low place 35 of the travel surface when the railroad vehicle gets on and off, and the wheel 60 of the railroad vehicle is fixed by moving to a high place 17a of the travel surface when mounting the railroad vehicle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
