PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care system for the elderly or the like by utilizing an existing system.SOLUTION: A personal computer function integrated television automatically transmits e-mail, to which information on operation such as turning on and off or channel changeover is attached automatically in response to the operation, to a television in a remote location. The television in the remote location receives and opens the e-mail automatically to display the e-mail on a television of itself. In the case of communication between different broadcast areas, a channel is automatically converted into one in a reception side broadcast area. When both parties view the same program, a message indicating that is displayed to give experience share feelings to the parties. Switching over to a program viewed by a partner is possible with just a single touch of a button. When abnormality is detected in the reception information, a warning is issued.
