PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for inducing chondrocyte redifferentiation to a dedifferentiated chondrocyte obtained by dedifferentiation of a chondrocyte to induce the redifferentiation of the dedifferentiated chondrocyte to the chondrocyte, and to provide a method for producing the chondrocyte by using the substrate without adding a factor for inducing the redifferentiation of the dedifferentiated chondrocyte to the chondrocyte.;SOLUTION: There is provided the substrate for inducing redifferentiation of chondrocyte to induce the redifferentiation of the dedifferentiated chondrocyte obtained by dedifferentiation of the chondrocyte to normal chondrocyte, and including one or more gels selected from (a) an interpenetrating network structure hydrogel having a first network structure composed of a repeating unit having electric charge and a second network structure composed of an electrically neutral repeating unit, (b) a hydrogel having a charged repeating unit ratio of ≤20% based on the total of repeating units of a constitution polymer and excluding the hydrogel (a), and (c) an electrically neutral gel excluding the hydrogels (a) and (b).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
